William E. King

April 29, 1935 — April 30, 2009

William E. "Buck" King of Streetsboro passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. He was born April 29, 1935 in Dilliner, Pa., a son of the late William and Maezella (Morris) King. He served with the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Buck was a member of the Streetsboro VFW, Streetsboro American Legion, former member of the Ravenna Moose and was a pee wee football coach in Kent, Ohio. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. King is survived by his loving wife, Wanda King whom he married March 23, 1957; two daughters, Tammy (Michael) Dolman of Tallmadge, Ohio, Regina (Aaron) Shellenberger of Deerfield, Ohio; son, William King of Aurora, Ohio; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Dolores Richards of Bobtown, Pa., Joan Walters of Waynesburg, Pa.; two brothers, Robert King and his wife Betty of Bumpass, Va and Walter King and his wife Donna of Bobtown, Pa. Deceased in addition to his parents is a sister Blossom Smith and a brother Ray King. Visitation was May 3, 2009 in the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Chapel, Streetsboro, Ohio where funeral services were held May 4, 2009 with Rev William Snyder officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro.
